Wheeled Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) Acquisition Project of the Philippine Army

To improve the mobility of the Philippine Army's Mechanized Infatry Division, as well as introduce a new model to complement and eventually replace ageing assets, the Philippine Army submitted a request for the acquisition of a new fleet of wheeled Armored Personnel Carriers (APC) to the Department of National Defense (DND).

This request was included in the Horizon 2 phase Priority Projects of the Revised AFP Modernization Program (RAFPMP) as simply the Wheeled Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) Acquisition Project of the Philippine Army.

It was originally planned to be an upgrade program for the PA's existing fleet of Cadillac Gage V-150 Commando and GKN Simba 4x4 wheeled armored vehicles. The plan was later revised to acquiring and introducing a new vehicle instead.

  1. I think this one not much of not of priority lists but anyway it is still included in PA procurement wishlist for AcV and probably under the PA MID they get only G2G deals from Israel GDELS... Just saying though in my opinion and assessments I think Pandur 6x6 will be selected...

  2. Though of interest by just a recommendations... Since it Will be use as APC with a manned
turrets will they also built with K2 40mm gun or a bmp3f turret? These guns are use in like fire support for the infantry also and its lethal in close quarter combat specially in urban warfares like Zamboanga Siege and Marawi

  7. Bigger guns highly recommended for these projects by philippine army. 25mm or 30mm bushmaster (rcws )for fire support like urban conflict and anti-aircraft guns dual purpose.

  8. I hope PA will choose Pandur 2 6x6 or 8x8 so turrets and weapons to be installed can integrate with the existing elbit systems from israel.
